In the Spring/Summer 2023 collection “Soft Breeze”, the fashion designer found inspiration in the anticipation of a bright and ivory Spring, created by a long winter. Just as when the ice melts, an airy, transparent sash remains, a promise of a more beautiful future, Anu Ling has used the embellished lace nuances of the Dutch haute couture fabric manufacturer to support the feminine personality.
The collection includes cuts following silhouette which bring out the subtleties of traditional Estonian tailoring and romantic early Spring patterns of pansies on a greenish-blue background emerging from under the ice, which were worn on stage by the ballerinas of the Music and Ballet School MUBA while dancing ballet right in front of the audience, combining the art of dance and fashion.
The prevailing shades are pastel green and ivory tones, which when worn in layers present the wearer as balanced and have the effect of maintaining self-confidence, as if the mysterious delicacy of ballerinas.
