ALEXANDERLING is named after the designer Anu Ling’s grandfather whose youth was back in 1940s – the era of body emphasising and draped dresses. It is the uttermost feminine handwriting of time that dictates the brand’s creation. Designed and made exquisitely in Tallinn, the dresses are focused on ease of the body.

The Estonian based brand was created in 2016 and honours domestic high-quality tailoring. ALEXANDERLING’s collections are represented twice a year at Tallinn Fashion Week and are available in-house and the largest design stores of Levi Design in Estonia.

In addition to bi-annual collections presented, her bespoke brand A. LING concentrates on each of the wearer individually – would it be a button up shirt, dress with pockets for work, perfectly fitted trench coat or even bridal wear, suit for the groom, a graduation dress or something special for you to have in your wardrobe for the infinity – whether womenswear or tailored menswear. This is a process requiring at least two rehearsals having the item made exactly for you. Please bare in mind the order time is 5 weeks starting with a consultation and hand picking the fabrics from the studio or our fabric supplier from Spain. We do offer repair service to all items made by us or for your favourite items from your own wardrobe.

When it comes to choosing your most important dress of your life – the bridal gown or a groom suit – we are here to help you. The process starts with a delicate selection of fabrics taking into consideration of the venue and season. Then the seamstresses make a pattern specially for you from which comes a toile. After the first rehearsal the dress will be completely taken into parts to implement corrections of the pattern. Usually this process takes 2-4 rehearsals. Your dress will be ready shortly before the wedding packed exquisitely into splash and windproof bag waiting for your special day.
